Marva A. Jones, LPCC-S, LICDC, Founder and President of Tree of Life Counseling and Training Center, Inc.  I have been working in the field of counseling for over 20 years and I am also a published author.  My book is titled, The Dance (The Power of the Father, Parenting Through Divorce and Separation, Don’t Let Your Children Become Collateral Damage).  I am passionate about working with individuals and families to assist them in overcoming challenges, reaching their full potential, and enjoying life.I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervision Designation, a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor, and an Ordained Minister. I have a diverse background including 10 years as an Adjunct Psychology professor, 10 years as a Clinical Director, 3 years as a National Football League Agent, and over 15 years in the business field in Real Estate and Insurance; this allows me to connect with people with various life experiences. I specialize in working with people struggling with anxiety, depression, addiction, unresolved trauma, grief, marriage and family therapy, co-parenting, and blended family issues.  My services also include career counseling,assisting athletes with life transitions as well as sports performance therapy, and Christian Counseling.  I have a Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Pastoral Counseling and a PhD in Biblical Counseling. My approach is client-centered and holistic.  I provide a safe and non-judgmental atmosphere for sharing personal concerns to work toward healing. If you are looking for a compassionate therapist to assist you in your journey, please call me.
